Abstract This Resolution consisting of 3 articles aims at amending some provisions, as follows (i) art.2 states that all existing enterprises, whose production depends on the use of ozone-depleting substances must obtain permission for climate concerns. It also prohibits to grant permits to establish new or to expand existing facilities based on the use of ozone depleting substances; (ii) art.3 prohibits import, export or re-export of ozone-depleting substances without registration with the competent authority and obtaining the ozone layer protection license; (iii) art.15 provides for submit a request to the competent authority to transfer ozone depleting substances, together with a copy of the listed documents; (iv) art.19 establishes that facilities for the maintenance, repair and servicing of air-conditioning and cooling systems containing ozone-depleting substances shall apply best practices, including the provision of gas recovery and reuse devices and control of emissions of ozone-depleting substances; (v) art.24 establishes that destruction or disposal of ozone-depleting substances is prohibited without prior approval by the competent authority; (vi) art.26 provides rules for those working with ozone depleting substances.
