Entry into force notes
This Resolution enters into force from the date of its issuance and shall be notified to whoever is required to implement it.
Abstract

This Resolution consisting of 12 articles lists the fish landing centers and auction areas available (art.1); prohibits fish landing in other places then the ones specified (art.2); provides for to the maintenance of sales invoices and official collection of all documents, records and official books specified in Articles 67 and 93 of the Law on the Regulation of Fishing and the Exploitation of Aquaculture and its protection (art.3); bans circulation, sale or transfer of aquatic products from landings and auction sites, unless their amounts, types and documentation are officially confirmed (art.5). It also establishes that the Ministry's officers in the coastal Governorates should be assigned to permanent and continuous presence in the landings and auction areas to carry out the tasks of the coastal inspection, control on the weight of the aquatic organisms and the quality control (art.6). As for the owners of fish landing centers and auction areas, they must abide by the conditions, specifications and sanitary and commercial technical standards in accordance with specifications approved by the Ministry (art.7).
