Abstract

This Ministerial Decision approves the Regulation on seed imports. It consists of 7 articles and 4 annexes specifying the requirements to be satisfied in order to import seeds from other countries. The objectives of this Decision are: to guarantee a good quality and adequate seed importation, to coordinate importing entities, to enforce controls on imports, etc. Model forms on import authorization, specifying detailed information on seed imports, are attached in the annexes.
