Abstract

This Decision of the Minister of Agricultural Development and Food provides for determining the necessary additional measures for implementing European Legislation in the fields of animal feed, animal health, and animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption. The Decision defines: management of animal products, as collection, transport, handling, processing, transformation, processing, storage, marketing, distribution; disposal of animal by-products; registration number; official veterinarian; producer. The Decision concerns: designation of competent authority, responsible for planning, coordination, supervision and control of the implementation of the European Regulations; obligations of producers to meet veterinary health requirements; traceability and labelling of products; keeping registers of the management units; inspection activity and official controls; penalties.
