This Resolution enters into force six months after the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Resolution regulates exports of fish from Sultanate of Oman. All enterprises, companies and individuals working in the field of fish export shall (a) apply for registration with the competent authority and obtain a quality control number as well as other necessary licences before initiating any export activity; (b) comply with the conditions and specifications of fish quality control stipulated in the Decision. The latter include: (a) General conditions and specifications for quality control of chilled and frozen fish export; (b) additional conditions and specifications for chilled fish; (c) additional conditions and specifications for frozen fish; (d) additional conditions and specifications for chilled and frozen lobster.
