This Ministerial Decision enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Ministerial Decision is composed of 2 articles and the Regulations themselves. Article 1 states that the provisions of the attached Regulations shall be put in effect by organizing the use of water desalination units in wells. The Regulations consist of 5 Chapters divided into 17 articles. Chapter 1 contains general provisions including the definition of terms used in the Regulations. Chapter 2 deals with the registration of existing desalination units installed on wells. Permits for the installation of new desalination units are covered in Chapter 3. Chapter 4 focuses on permits for waste brine disposal wells. Penalties are given in Chapter 5.
