This Ministerial Decision enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Ministerial Decision consists of 3 articles and an attached table. Fees for granting permits for the importing, transportation, storage and use of radioactive substances are prescribed in accordance with the attached table (art. 1). The table itself separates fees for medical and other uses (industrial and commercial). The latter pay 100 Omani Riyals (OR)/yr for the import and transport of radioactive materials; 100 OR a year for storage and use; 200 OR a year for all four operations. Those practicing medicine pay a substantially reduced annual fee.
