Abstract This Ministerial Decision is composed of 6 articles and two Tables. Article 1 states that pesticides that are forbidden and those that have restricted application are defined according to Tables A and B. Article 2 bans the manufacture, importation or handling of pesticides listed in Table A. Companies and institutions in possession of these banned pesticides have 6 months from the date that this Decision enters into force to dispose of them without facing the consequences of using them or disposing of them in the country (art. 3). Companies, institutions and individuals are not permitted to manufacture, handle or use any pesticides listed in Table B except under the guidance of the Ministry (art. 4). Article 5 cancels all laws or regulations that violate or contradict the provisions of this Decision.
