Abstract

This Ministerial Decision regulates the import authorization and phytosanitary certificate requirements for any product capable of transporting pests and dangerous diseases. Considering the Plant Protection Regulation, it establishes the requirements for importing, exporting and re-exporting plants and plant products (including forestry products). Annexes list plant products and related foodstuff for human consumption or planting purpose. The import license and phytosanitary certificate of origin issued by the competent State body aims to regulate products capable of transporting pests and dangerous diseases. The products listed in Annex I are subject to phytosanitary inspection, as established in the Plant Protection Regulation.
