Terms and definitions are given in article 1. Drainage of sewerage waters and mud without the authorization of the Ministry shall be prohibited (art. 2). The authorization shall contain details concerning the recycling of sewerage waters and mud according to Annexes 1 and 2 (art. 3). The drainage shall comply with the standards mentioned in Annex 1 (art. 5). The owner shall analyze the soil before using the mud (art. 6). Transportation of sewerage waters and mud shall not be carried out without a previous authorization of the Ministry (art. 11). The Ministry may inspect any treatment station and collect samples from water, soil and mud (art. 12). Standards for sewerage waters (maximum and minimum limits) are given in Annex I. Annexes II and III deal with the recycling of mud for agricultural purposes, and the recycling of sewerage waters.
