In order to ensure the preservation of fish stocks, and in view of the need to establish, at the estuary of the Limpopo River a closed-season for shrimp fishing for the year 2016 under article 14 of Law No. 22/2013 and article 9 of Decree No. 43/2003, establishes the following: 1. a closed-season for shrimp fisheries established for the period from 1 January to 28 February 2016, on the entire length between the estuary of the River Limpopo and Farol de Quissico. The closed-season applies extensively to the following motor-powered fishing vessels and fishing gear: a) semi-industrial trawling fishing vessels; b) drag artisanal fishing vessels; c) gillnet called "chitlhamutlhamo".
