Abstract

This Ministerial Circular lays down guidelines and clarifications for the purpose of properly implementing Council Regulation (EC) No. 1221/97, which lays down general rules for the application of measures to improve the production and marketing of honey. Firstly, the Circular gives the definition of “bee keeper”and “apiculture producer”. All legal persons which intend to benefit from the subsidies granted in this field shall submit their programmes to the competent Department under the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies. Further details are laid down in the three Annexes attached to the Circular.
