Abstract

This Act, consisting of 13 sections completed by three Schedules, ensures the continuing access for mining purposes to certain areas of the State having a very high potential for effective and efficient mining for minerals, without any implication as to the prospectivity of the remaining areas of the State. Schedule 1 describes the areas of land established as strategic prospectivity zones.
