Abstract

This text defines rules for the safeguarding of hygiene in facilities for the production, processing and storage of food intended for exportation. It lays down sanitary requirements with respect to surroundings, sewerage systems, space, light, furnishing, drainage systems, stables for livestock, waste disposal, maintenance, etc. of those facilities, and requirements with respect to health and hygiene of the personnel of those facilities. Some provisions contain special rules for factories that produce frozen food. The last part of these Rules concerns sanitary requirements with respect to packing, storage, and transportation of foods intended for export, and sanitary inspection. (7 articles)
