These regulations enter into force as follows: a) regulations 1 and 2 on the day of publication; b) the rest of the regulations on the day after its publication.
Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 43 sections divided into eight Parts, regulate and secure the safety and health of persons engaged in mining operations; assist employers and employees to identify and reduce hazards relating to mining operations, by eliminating those risks, or imposing effective controls in order to minimize them. The Regulations are divided as follows: Part 1 Preliminary; Part 2 Levy; Part 3 Assessing the levy; Part 4 Payment and recovery; Part 5 Objections and reviews; Part 6 Record keeping and provision of information; Part 7 Investigation and enforcement; Part 8 Miscellaneous.
