Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to safety and health of miners. Section 2 establishes that this Regulation applies to all mines and mining plants and to mining development. The text consists of 313 sections divided into 12 Parts as follows: General (I); Fire protection (II); Access to workplaces (III); Protection of works (IV); Haulage (V); Explosives (VI); Electrical (VII); Mechanical (VIII); Railroads (IX); Mine hoisting plants (X); Working environment (XI); Omissis (XII). One Schedule on First Aid Equipment is enclosed.
