Abstract

These Regulations amend the Mines and Minerals Development (General) Regulations, 2008 by the inserting new regulations (44A and 44B) and in the Second Schedule. Regulation 44A concerns submission of annual reports operations carried out in the mining area and operations ancillary thereto and regulation 44B concerns the programme of future operations. Both are to be submitted annually by a holder of a mining licence or mineral processing licence to the Director of Mines. The Second Schedule is amended by providing a new form for an application for a mining right as set out in the Appendix to these Regulations.
