Abstract

This Act amends the Mines and Minerals Development Act in subsection (1) of section 133 by the deletion of the words “three” and “five” wherever they appear, and the substitution therefor of the word “six”. Section 133 concerns the payment of royalties on the production of minerals by a holder of a large-scale mining licence, large-scale gemstone licence, small-scale mining licence, small-scale gemstone licence or an artisan's mining right.
