Abstract

This Act amends the Mines and Minerals Act in section 2 by inserting a definition of "Former Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines Limited" and by amending section 66 in subsection (1) by the deletion of the full stop after the words " two per centum " and the insertion of the words " except in the case of the former Zambia Consolidated Copper Mining Company where the rate shall be zero point six per centum. Section 66 concerns royalties on the production of minerals.
