Abstract

This Act provides for rights and claims relative to mining operations in Namibia, the establishment of Minerals Board of Namibia, the administration of the Act, and for other matters relative to mining such as financial matters, the sale and export of minerals, the protection of the environment, environmental impact assessment and the liability of holders of licences or mining claims for pollution of environment or other damage caused.
