Abstract

This Order designates an area within which the rights mentioned in section 4(1) of the Minerals (Exploration and Exploitation) Ordinance. Section 4(1) states that any rights exercisable outside territorial waters with respect to seabed and subsoil and their mineral and natural resources are vested in the Crown. Section 4(2) empowers the Governor to designate, by Order, any area as an area within which such rights are exercisable.
