Abstract

This Act amends the Mineral Development Acts 1940 to 1995 so as to vest any minerals or exclusive mining rights, which previously vested in the Irish Land Commission under or by virtue of specified Acts, in the State. The Act also provides for transfer of right to compensation relating to rights vested in the State by this Act and for summary proceedings in relation to offences made under the principal Act.
