These regulations enter into force on 28 June 2016.
Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 19 sections divided into six Parts and completed by four Schedules, implement provisions of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995. The Regulations provide for marking out of land in respect of lease or licence applications and prescribe rates of royalties and fees payable in respect of leases or licences. Schedules establish the following matters: Royalties; Fees for Licences and leases; Rent; and Prescribed minerals, such as: Metallic minerals; Industrial minerals; Semi-precious stones; and Precious stones.
