Abstract

An Ordinance to prescribe the quality requirements in the marketing of natural mineral waters and of spring waters as defined at the outset. Article 3 lists the required controls to ensure the high quality of Austrian mineral waters. The following articles describe the procedures for the examination of samples. Moreover, the marketing of natural mineral waters is subject to the authorization by the Minister for Women and Consumer Protection. The Ordinance consists of 16 articles and 2 Annexes.
