The Scheme is made pursuant to Article 2(6) of the Agricultural Marketing (Jersey) Law 1953 and provides an administrative and regulatory framework for the marketing of milk. The Jersey Milk Marketing Board is established for purposes of managing the Scheme and for administration and control of the fund established under the Scheme. The Scheme provides for arbitration to which decisions of the Board may be submitted. The Schedule sets out minimum terms of a marketing agreement or a management agreement.
