It shall consist of seven members appointed by the Minister (sect. 4). Functions of the Board include providing cheap and efficient milk production, the purchase, distribution, grading, storage, etc. of milk, acquisition and maintenance of livestock, plants, machinery, etc., for purposes of production of milk, etc. (sect. 9). The Board may establish departments and agencies under section 10. The Board shall have the power to make rules with respect to matters specified in section 14. Remaining sections provide for financial arrangements of the Board and milk production by local authorities. Full text English
