Abstract

This Methodology, based on the provisions of the Law on assessment, prescribes the manner of estimating the value of the goods and environmental impacts. Subject to assessment of the value of goods and environmental impacts are: environmental media (water, air and soil) and areas of the environment (nature, waste, noise and all other elements that represent an indivisible part of the environment). The value of environmental goods consists of (1) Values used in relation to humans (directly used values; indirectly used values); (2) Unused or directly unused (in relation to humans) values (passively used values which are: future value-for inheritance for future generations; existential values).
