Abstract There were exposed 17 species of meta-cercaria trematode of the genus of diplostomum (orderly strigeidida, family diplostomide) in the fauna of Russia and contiguous states, each of which is capable of causing original disease. In order to distinguish them a letter of Latin alphabet corresponding to the concrete type of pathogen is added to the name of “diplostomoses” (Annex 1). The document consists of 6 Secs. Section 1 lays down general provisions. Section 2 regards study of fishes. Section 3 regards study of living meta-cercaria. Section 4 regards fixation and colouring of meta-cercaria and manufacturing of permanent preparations. Section 5 regards determination of generic and specific classification of the pathogens of diplostomoses of freshwater fishes. Section 6 regards safety arrangements and personal hygiene.
