Abstract

This chapter of the Maine Revised Statutes concerns mercury-added products and services. More specifically, it provides for disclosure for mercury-containing products used in hospitals; restrictions on sale and use of mercury; labeling and consumer information; disposal ban; source separation; motor vehicle components; mercury-added thermostats; household hazardous waste exemption; dental procedures; technical assistance to municipalities; interstate clearinghouse; and mercury-added lamps.
