This Act declares the Protocol to amend the International Convention on the Establishment of an International Fund for Compensation for Oil Pollution Damage to have the force of law in the Republic of South Africa and defines the territorial sea for purposes of Article 3 of the 1992 Convention, which here means Articles 1 to 36 of the International Convention on the Establishment of an International Fund for Compensation for Oil Pollution Damage as amended in 1992.
