Abstract

These Regulations implement, in relation to United Kingdom ships, Directive 2004/37/EC, which consolidates Directive 1990/394/EEC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens and mutagens, as amended by Directives 1997/42/EC and 1999/38/EC on the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health of workers at work.
