Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to establish the Melbourne Water Corporation and make amendments to the Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works Act 1958 and the Water Act 1989 consequential on the abolition of certain water authorities. The Act establishes the Corporation and defines its general operation and functions.
