It also provides for medicinal tests on animals and control on medicated animal feeding stuffs. The authority responsible for any recognition, grant, renewal, variation, suspension and revocation of licences, authorizations and certificates in relation to medicines for animals, shall be the "appropriate Department", i.e. the Commerce and Employment Department. The Department may by Order prohibit the sale, supply or importation, of veterinary medicinal products or animal feed products containing such medicinal products.
