Abstract

These Regulations implement provisions of the Medicines and Related Substances Act, 1965 concern also animal drugs and in particular veterinary medicines for food producing animals and the clinical testing on animals of medicines. Medicines are subdivided into the following pharmacological classifications and include also food additives and infant foods and other formulae, excluding foods used solely as a substitute for human milk.
