Abstract

This Regulation applies in relation to a regulated activity that is a dealing with a poison or prohibited substance. Chapter 1, Introduction, provides a lists of prohibited substances and categories of poisons. Chapter 2 regulates standard conditions applying in relation to substance authorities authorising dealings with regulated poisons; these include for instance conditions for particular types of substance authorities such as general approvals for poison to control an invasive animal. The Chapter continues providing for conditions for particular regulated poisons. Chapter 3 covers Chapter 3 Requirements for dealings (buying by wholesale, dealing regulated poisons, etc.) Chapter 4 clarifies issues related to Substance management plans (e.g. Regulated places and responsible persons). Chapter 5 offence, Chapter 6 administration, Chapter 7 saving and transitional provisions.
