Abstract

Bees fulfill a very important role in the conservation of the variety of wild flora and fauna, as well as in the harvest of agricultural plants. Therefore, the activity of apiculture requires special attention and care. Article 2 lays down provisions relating to bee-hives. The competent Ministry may open, modify or close down a bee breeding colony having a protected perimeter of 8 km. Within such an area it is generally not allowed to open another bee-breeding colony. However, the competent Ministry may grant an exception for very special reasons. The text consists of 6 articles.
