Abstract This Act, consisting of seven Parts, concerns the regulation and control of the meat industry in New South Wales. The Act provides for the assessment and collection of the meat industry levy and defines related liability. Under section 66, all money collected and all money apportioned by the Parliament are to go to form a fund out of which the expenses of the Food Authority and of the New South Wales Meat Industry Consultative Council may be paid.
