These Regulations enter into force on 24 April 2013.
Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of three Parts an completed by two Schedules: prescribe certain standards and codes that apply in relation to the operation of various aspects of licensed meat premises and licensed pet food works; provide for certain matters in relation to quality assurance programmes; provide for certain matters in relation to the branding of meat, meat products and pet food; prescribe certain fees; and prescribe certain marks and official marking devices. The Regulations are divided as follows: Part 1 Preliminary; Part 2 Branding; Part 3 Miscellaneous; Schedule 1 and 2 deal with: fees and Brands.
