Abstract

The present Law implements the Federal Meat Hygiene Act of 8 July 1993 (BGBl. I p. 1242). Article 1 names the Ministry for Food and Rural Space as responsible for the execution of legislation on meat hygiene. The text consists of 3 articles as follows: Competent authorities (1); Conferring tasks to meat industries (1a); Fees (2); Costs (2a); Data storage (2b); Data communication system (2c); Repeal of existing legislation (3).
