Abstract

This Law, of Seven Sections, gives definitions and establishes conditions for the importation of meat and meat products to Israel. Section (1) gives definitions. Sec (2) establishes that meat importation shall be always accompanied with a Kosher certificate. Sec (3) the Minister of Industry and Commerce can authorize importation, for special occasions, of meat without a Kosher Certificate. Section (4) regards powers given to the government to import meat from abroad. Section (5) gives powers to this law. Section (6) regards pre-issued importation licenses. Sec (7) gives power to the minister to establish regulations to this Law.
