Abstract The purpose of these Measures is to strengthen the supervision and administration of exhaust pollution of automobiles, and to prevent and control air pollution. The Departments in charge of environmental protection shall conduct supervision and administration for exhaust pollution discharged by: automobiles and their engines before leaving the factory; automobiles in use; imported automobiles; automobiles that have been repaired. Exhaust pollution testing of automobiles shall be done annually. Automobiles shall meet the national standards for pollutants discharged from exhaust pipes of engines. Full text English/Chinese
