Importation of medicines, foodstuffs, and animal and plant products may be subject to registration. Article 3 defines tasks of various public bodies regarding the control of the importation of goods. A "Catalogue of Imported Commodities with the Implementation of the Quality Licence System" shall be compiled by the State Commodity Inspection Bureau (art. 4). This catalogue shall include commodities that have obtained a "safety mark", "registration" or "certificate". Commodities shall meet the requirements set out in article 6 in order to obtain a quality licence. The procedure for obtaining quality licence is set out in articles 7 to 12.
