Abstract

This Statutory Measure requires: (a) persons who purchase of seed cotton from producers; (b) persons who process seed cotton; (c) persons who import or export cotton; and (d) persons who are parties to the purchase of cotton lint from producers or ginners, to keep records and regularly furnish returns to Cotton South Africa. This information is essential to ensure that continuous, up-to-date and accurate market information relating to cotton is made available for all parties involved in cotton market. The Statutory Measure shall be administered by Cotton South Africa. Specific returns are specified for each party involved in the industry.
