Abstract

The Act provides for the definition and delimitation of "Internal Waters" (Part 2), "Archipelagic Waters" and "territorial sea" (Part 3), "Contiguous Zone" (Part 4), the "Continental Shelf" and "Exclusive Economic Zone" (Part 5). Sovereignty over the Territorial and Archipelagic Waters and sovereign rights for the purposes of exploration, exploitation, conservation and management of resources are proclaimed. The Minister may by Order further regulate the arguments listed in Section 3. The Schedule describes the archipelagic baseline. (15 sections)
