The text - consisting of 21 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: Definition of terms, sphere of application, construction and maintainance of Austrian maritime ships; classification, transfer of competences; exemptions and deviations, Ordinances; attestations; obligations of the shipowner and the captain; accidents; official acts; competent authorities; penalties; entry into force; transitional provisions.
