Abstract

The purpose of the present Act is to improve safety of maritime ships including protection of personnel working on such ships and environmental protection at sea by investigating maritime accidents or other incidents at sea. The text consists of 57 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Sphere of application (1); Investigations in the security provision by responsible person (2); Official studies concerning the safety culture of international and national sea safety system (3); Norm enforcement against responsible individuals on board in administrative procedure (4); Penalties, final and transitional provisions (5).
