This Act enters into force on 1 December 2001.
Abstract

This Act, consisting of four Parts, aims at rationalizing the application of the marine safety legislation of New South Wales and Victoria in Lake Hume and Lake Mulwala on the Murray River border, which has been submerged by the creation of those Lakes. For the purposes of this Act, certain parts of the area of the lakes are assigned to the jurisdiction of New South Wales and others to Victoria.
