The Act defines the declaration procedure (Part 2), regulates the activities in marine parks (Part 3), provides for the preparation and approval of operational plans (Part 4), establishes the Marine Parks Authority and the Marine Parks Advisory Council and regulates their organization and operation (Part 5 and 6). Part 7 is dedicated to the enforcement of the Act and of provisions of other Acts that apply to marine parks and Part 8 provides for the creation of the Marine Parks Fund. Schedule 4 attached to the Act declares three marine parks and defines their borders.
