Abstract

These Regulations restrict access and activities in marine areas of Trinidad and Tobago designated under the Marine Areas (Preservation and Enhancement) Act as restricted areas for the purpose of preserving those areas and the protection of fauna and flora in such areas. No person shall, without written permission of the Minister; access a restricted area; operate a boat in an restricted area; take or remove any fish or bird from a restricted area; take or remove any mangrove; or interfere with the seabed.
