Abstract

This Act, consisting of 56 sections divided into five Parts and completed by three Schedules, provides for the establishment of the Marine and Safety Authority to ensure the safe operations of vessels, to provide and manage marine facilities and to manage environmental issues relating to vessels. The internal organization of the Authority is defined in the Act.
